From the Head
The personal touch is something I deeply value. A Head shouldn't be distant or unapproachable. For me, it's about knowing every child's name, being readily available, and dedicating my time and energy to the children, teachers, and parents in our school. Ultimately, I believe leading a school is about fostering a true partnership between school and home, I truly believe that by working together, we empower our children to thrive. It's through this close collaboration that we can ensure every child achieves their full potential and blossoms into the very best version of themselves. My aim is to create an environment where children are not only happy but also experience enriched learning, where a passion and curiosity for knowledge are instilled – qualities they will carry with them through senior school and far beyond. My commitment lies in a creative and innovative curriculum, ensuring we lay the strongest foundations in the EYFS and beyond. Park Hill futures the confidence and self esteem that allows all children to love learning and apply themselves across the entire curriculum.
As soon as you enter Park Hill you will immediately feel like family and hear the buzz of excited chatter of children and teachers, conversations sparked by anticipation for the next lesson or the day unfolding ahead. You might see children happily clutching their games kit or iPads or books, heading out with enthusiasm for a match or solving a STEM challenge or quietly reading. Teachers will pause, eager to greet you and share the extraordinary progress their children are making, their pride in each individual shining through.
I know and absolutely love how happy our children and parents are here at Park Hill. It's precisely this vibrant atmosphere that strikes you the moment you walk through our doors.
